The 1:1 sessions with Axelle were such a gift in bringing a holistic sense of calmness in an ungrounded time for me. Axelle was receptive to my needs and how I showed up to each session, listening and adapting as we went. I felt so heard and held. I regularly practice the memorable, effective, and nourishing exercises that she guided me through with her gentle demeanour. I feel that I'm so much more in touch with my body and the practical techniques I can use to release tensions and relax, I would recommend everyone to try Sophrology with her!

I had in person one-to-one sessions with Axelle to help me with my sleep problems. She took me through exercises to focus my mind before getting me to concentrate on my body through ‘body scanning’ and visualisations. Axelle also made a recording of the exercises for me, so I was able to practise them before going to sleep. My sleep has much improved and I was able to sleep throughout the night without waking up for the first time in a long time feeling fully refreshed. Axelle’s voice is so calming and hypnotic, and I was able to fall into a deep meditative space during our sessions. Also, she is extremely thoughtful and kind and gives great advise on how to manage stress.

Thank you so much for introducing me to the world of Sophrology, which was completely unknown to me before our sessions. I am very grateful to have discovered new techniques which enable me to manage stress more efficiently and to relax to enjoy life more.

“The sophrology sessions were instrumental in keeping me calm and focused in a busy academic environment. Through the sessions, I have greater awareness of my body, without judgement. I am able to notice when I'm tense from sitting & facing the screen for too long, and as such, I'm able to take breaks and stretch. I've also noticed that I can concentrate on a task for longer and I'm better able to manage my stress levels. Thank you for this amazing, accessible tool !”

Daniel (Psychotherapist)

Sophrology is a dynamic form of relaxation and calm focus, combining breathing, movement, and imagination. A dynamic relaxation practice. Axelle reassuringly guided me through an amazing set of varied breathing exercises involving movement, ultimately leading me into a spatial dimension and imaginative space—something that felt profoundly deep and intense, like a quality I had never experienced before.

It’s a dynamic relaxation that brings a greater, more complete awareness of the body, mind connection, reminding me never to take my body, my temple, for granted again, either externally or internally. It's balm for the soul: an integration of psyche and soma.

The practice is easy to follow, and I now do it for 10 minutes every morning to start my day feeling fully recharged. My energy levels are amazing, and my zest and vitality for life have truly transformed. This shift has changed not only how I relate to my body but to my whole being. It’s no exaggeration to say that Axelle and her Sophrology sessions have given me more confidence, a sense of fulfilment, and a joy I hadn’t known before.

Sophrology is a unique form of mind–body therapy, an attunement and embodiment of the whole Self. Thank you, Axelle, for introducing me to this wonderful practice and experience, which has now become an integral part of my life, hopefully forever. Sophrology is not only easy to perform and maintain; it’s also incredibly enjoyable and beneficial in so many ways. I highly recommend this practice and Axelle as a safe and supportive guide on this journey.”
